Zay Flowers Injured, Latest on Ravens WR's Status and Fantasy Implications After 150 Yards vs. Colts

Baltimore Ravens star receiver Zay Flowers was in the midst of a career game, but it was unfortunately cut short prematurely.

Flowers dominated against the Indianapolis Colts, producing five catches for 150 yards and a touchdown in what will surely be one of the top fantasy football performances of Week 1. However, the Ravens ruled him out for the remainder of Sunday's game with a hamstring injury.

Per ESPN's Jamison Hensley , Flowers grabbed the back of his left hamstring after being tackled by Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner following a 12-yard catch in the second quarter. Hensley noted that Flowers had missed two weeks with a hamstring injury before returning to practice last week, and he entered Sunday's game without an injury designation.

Flowers did all of his damage in the first half. His 54-yard touchdown highlighted a 31-point performance by Baltimore through the first two quarters.

In addition to losing Flowers, the Ravens also lost promising rookie wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane to a wrist injury in the first half. He made one catch for 11 yards before exiting the game. Baltimore was left with a receiving corps consisting of six-year veteran Rashod Bateman, LaJohntay Wester, who is primarily a punt returner, and Chris Moore, who was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's opener.

Fantasy managers will certainly be hoping that Flowers won't have to miss too much time, as he showed in Sunday's first half that he can be a dependable WR1. If he's sidelined, it will be important to find a replacement on the waiver wire before Week 2.
