Former NFL star LeSean McCoy has no problem with Pat McAfee's recent smoking fiasco.

The 2026-27 NFL season has marked a new era for Pat McAfee, as he recently made his debut on Monday Night Countdown.

Aside from that, McAfee continues his iconic 'The Pat McAfee Show,' where fans see a much more unfiltered version of the former NFL star.

Keeping that in mind, McAfee once again made headlines, but not for his sports take. Instead, he was allegedly seen smoking a marijuana joint on ESPN.

2x Super Bowl champion LeSean McCoy sees nothing wrong with the viral clip where McAfee is allegedly putting down a lit joint while being on live TV.

"I'm a fan of Pat. I've always been a fan of Pat. The stuff he's doing right now, nobody's done. He's great on TV, great personality. Imagine a kicker doing these types of things," McCoy said.

He added, "I root for Pat, like I said, ain't nobody more powerful than him other than the president."

Some thought ESPN might punish McAfee for his smoking incident, but McCoy was in the other corner as he heaped nothing but praise on the former NFL kicker.

In fact, McCoy went as far as saying that McAfee is currently the most powerful person in the US, not named Donald Trump.
