Returning for another season at 42 years old means Aaron Rodgers has the chance to bolster his historic resume even further, and he did just that on Sunday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers collected his 580th career touchdown pass, breaking a tie with Peyton Manning on the NFL's all-time passing touchdowns list (including playoffs). Rodgers now holds sole possession of third place on the list, just behind Tom Brady and Drew Brees.

"Anytime you're in the same sentence as Peyton, that definitely does mean a lot to me," Rodgers said.

Rodgers' 580th touchdown fittingly came against the Indianapolis Colts, where Manning spent the bulk of his Hall of Fame career. He connected with running back Jaylen Warren for an explosive 80-yard touchdown, getting the pass off while taking a big hit.

"I think I earned that one because I took a shot from Grover (Stewart) on the play," Rodgers said.

The touchdown was the first of three for Rodgers, who had 235 yards in a 34-22 win over the Colts.

The Steelers moved to 3-2 with the win as Rodgers looks to finish off his legendary career with a big season.

Rodgers likely won't catch up to Brees for second place, barring an outstanding finish to the year, but moving into third place on the list is just another testament to how much of an impact Rodgers has had throughout his career.
