Week 3 of the NFL preseason kicks off Thursday night, as teams around the league make their final evaluations ahead of the roster cut deadline on Sunday, when they must trim their 90-man training-camp rosters to their initial 53-man rosters.With that deadline looming, expect plenty of roster bubble players and cut candidates to get playing time as they make their final cases to make the regular-season roster.Notably out of the lineup Thursday night will be Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (as well as his backup, Shedeur Sanders), after officially getting the starting nod for 2026 earlier this week despite a lackluster preseason.
