Running back Joe Mixon flew on the same plane that crashed on Sunday, Nov. 1, in Florida, according to a social media post he shared on Monday, Nov. 2.

"Absolutely devastated by yesterday's tragic plane crash in Florida and the loss of all nine lives," the NFL free agent, 30, said in a post on X . "I flew on that exact aircraft last month with those same two pilots. They were incredible professionals and genuinely wonderful people."

The Learjet 60 crashed on Sunday afternoon in Palm Beach County, killing all nine aboard. The crew included Captain Jeff Gregory and co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, who was originally from Palm Beach and earned her pilot's license at age 17.

"Hearing the young woman's story and learning about the bright future she had ahead of her makes it even more heartbreaking that her life was cut so short. 💔" the former Cincinnati Bengals star wrote.

Filgueiras had logged more than 1,300 hours of flight time and was working for a charter firm based in Fort Lauderdale, her mother, Camila Corteleti, told The New York Times .

"She loved the freedom," Corteleti said. "It was completely different seeing the world from the top."

The jet took off from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas on Sunday morning and was headed to North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed to PEOPLE .

Seven passengers were killed in the crash. Adam Robinson, a tech entrepreneur, was identified as a victim in the crash, in addition to his wife, ceramicist and business owner Helen Sharp, and their children, daughter Emma and son Charlie.

Family members released a joint statement shared with PEOPLE and other outlets, which featured loving words to them and the other passengers, identified as family friends Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr, and the Robinsons' nanny, Anita Maria Cetina.
