Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is back in action and he has his first touchdown pass of the 2026 season! Trailing 7-0, Darnold helped march his team all the way to the Commanders ' goal line. Seattle's nine-play, 88-yard drive was capped off when Darnold found - who else!? - but his No. 1 wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the end zone.

JSN now has five touchdowns on the season thanks to this toss from Sam Darnold.

This drive was aided by a pair of explosive plays. A 20-yard reception to fullback Brady Russell got the Seahawks to the goal line, and a dominant 32-yard reception from tight end AJ Barner set up the pass to Russell.
