Will Levis' time with the Tennessee Titans is reportedly over.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sunday the Titans waived the quarterback before the 6 p.m. ET roster cut deadline. He entered the league as a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft but never lived up to expectations.

Here are some potential landing spots now that Levis is heading to free agency:

It should be noted none of these landing spots are for a starting role.

Levis had his chance as a starter for the Titans and largely struggled with a 5-16 record across the 2023 and 2024 seasons. His QBR in his 12 games in 2024 of 25.2 was 36th in the league, per Pro Football Reference .

That means teams that either need backup depth or could give him an opportunity to work with an offensive-minded coach to revive his career figure to be his best landing spots.

The Washington Commanders stand out with Marcus Mariota dealing with a knee injury this preseason. Having enough playable backup depth is important in Washington after Jayden Daniels was limited to seven games last season, and Levis could at least provide an insurance policy.

Perhaps he could end up with the Green Bay Packers as well.

Green Bay traded away a depth piece in Kyle McCord and would give Levis an opportunity to work with head coach Matt LaFleur. LaFleur has an offensive background and is known for his ability to get the best out of his quarterbacks, so perhaps he could help Levis turn things around moving forward.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could also use more depth after they released veteran Jake Browning, per ESPN's Adam Schefter .

Undrafted free agent Jalon Daniels becoming the backup behind Baker Mayfield is an impressive story, but Levis would at least give the Buccaneers someone who has game experience behind their starter.
