Seahawks' Jaxon Smith-Njigba Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

Only four spots now remain in the NFL Top 100 ahead of the 2026 season.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was revealed Monday at No. 5. It's his first appearance in the Top 100.

Smith-Njigba eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards and was a Pro Bowler in 2024. Still, his peers weren't totally convinced by his on-field exploits.

The former Ohio State standout made himself undeniable in 2025 by leading the NFL in receiving yards (1,793). He was also ninth in yards per catch (15.1) and tied for sixth in touchdown receptions (10).

While his impact in Seattle's Super Bowl win was muted, he played a key role in the Seahawks' victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC title game. He had 10 receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown.

"He reminds me so much of Cooper Kupp's tremendous performance in 2021, only JSN is better on the outside than him," one coordinator told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler . "Love his game. Relentless. Smooth. Competitor. He's not the elite outside player those top guys are."

The Seahawks didn't want to waste any time and signed Smith-Njigba to a four-year, $168.6 million extension, which doesn't fully go into effect until 2028. The franchise is banking on him to remain an elite pass-catcher in 2026 and well beyond that.
