Broncos' Patrick Surtain II Named to NFL Top 100, Check Out the Updated 2026 Rankings

Denver Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain II maintained his position in the NFL Top 100.

Surtain climbed to No. 10 heading into the 2025 season, and that's where he resides once again.

Surtain set a high bar for himself when he was an All-Pro and the Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.

Any hopes of repeating as DPOY were out the door when Myles Garrett set the single-season sack record. Surtain still continued to perform at an elite level, though.

In 14 games, he had 47 combined tackles with one interception and 12 pass breakups. According to Pro Football Reference , opposing quarterbacks targeted him just 61 times, and they had a 54.1 percent completion rate and 66.6 passer rating when doing so.

The 26-year-old also ranks 10th in the B/R NFL 1000 and beat out the Los Angeles Chargers' Derwin James Jr. to be the top cornerback .

"Surtain is always under control, plays extremely physical without holding, and makes receivers earn every yard," his player summary read. "Only allowing 50-plus yards receiving in a game twice last season, the All-Pro corner collected more pass breakups than catches allowed down the field."

The Broncos signed Surtain to a four-year, $96 million extension before the 2024 campaign kicked off. That deal is looking like a bigger and bigger bargain.
