Jalen Coker, Kalif Raymond & Top Fantasy Waiver-Wire WRs After Zay Flowers' Injury

Just one week into the 2026 campaign, injuries are starting to make an impact on top fantasy players.

Baltimore Ravens star Zay Flowers exited Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts with a hamstring injury, leaving his status up in the air heading into next week.

For fantasy managers potentially needing to replace Flowers, here are a handful of possible waiver-wire options.

Jalen Coker had two quiet seasons to start his career, but he looked like a completely different player in the Panthers' season opener on Sunday.

He was Bryce Young's favorite target against the Chicago Bears, recording eight receptions for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The team's second-leading receiver was Tetairoa McMillan, who had five receptions for 75 yards.

The connection between Young and Coker is there, and it could lead to a breakout season for the third-year receiver. The Panthers will also face the Falcons, Browns and Lions over the next three weeks, so they aren't exactly going up against top defenses in the NFL.

Kalif Raymond isn't a new face in the NFL since he's been in the league for over a decade, but after one week, he's on pace for a career year.

In a dominant win over the Panthers, the receiver had 84 yards on eight receptions to help lead the team to a win.

While Raymond's Week 1 performance could be a fluke, all signs point to him having a solid year. He and quarterback Caleb Williams found a connection during training camp, and Raymond is well-versed in Ben Johnson's offense, having spent the last five years with the Detroit Lions.

The Bears' offense looked unstoppable in Week 1, and it seems Raymond will have plenty of balls thrown his way this season.

Devaughn Vele had just two touchdowns during the entire 2025 campaign, and he's already halfway there after Week 1.

The Saints dropped their season opener against the Lions, but their offense looked surprisingly strong as they put up 30 points in the overtime loss. Chris Olave was Tyler Shough's favorite target, but Vele collected seven receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown.

The Saints leaned on the passing game far more than the ground game on Sunday, and if that continues to be the trend, Vele could be in for a big year as the second option to Olave.

The Eagles traded for Dontayvion Wicks this offseason, hoping to add some depth with AJ Brown on his way out, but it appears Wicks might be more than an extra body.

Wicks had a solid three seasons with the Packers to start his career and found an early connection with Jaylen Hurts on Sunday, scoring a touchdown in the first half against the Washington Commanders.

DaVonta Smith might be the Eagles' WR1, but Wicks is seemingly set to be a big part of the offense this year.
