49ers' Kyle Juszczyk Says 'My Cardio Is A1' After Rare Stat Drops from Week 1 Win vs. Rams

San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk reacted Friday to a unique stat that he had a significant hand in during the team's 27-7 season-opening win over the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne on Thursday.

According to Next Gen Stats , the 49ers had pre-snap motion on 65.6 percent of snaps during the game, which was the most ever under head coach Kyle Shanahan.

Juszczyk was in motion in 17 of his 33 snaps, and no other 49ers player was in motion more than five times.

In response to the stat, the 35-year-old veteran referenced and credited his strong cardio:

Playing his 14th NFL season out of Harvard, Juszczyk has spent the past 10 years with the 49ers following a four-year run with the Baltimore Ravens.

Entering 2026, Juszczyk was named a Pro Bowler in 10 straight seasons, and he is also a two-time First Team All-Pro.

Going up against the preseason Super Bowl favorites, San Francisco's offense was humming on Thursday, piling up 379 total yards and 23 first downs.

Despite not recording a carry or a reception, Juszczyk played a big role with his misdirection and blocking, and that figures to continue being the case moving forward this season.
