The Los Angeles Rams have a relatively short bye week coming up, a scheduling decision that hasn't sat well with quarterback Matthew Stafford 's wife, Kelly, who made her displeasure with the NFL public.
In an Instagram Story posted on Tuesday, Kelly tagged the league's official account and questioned why Los Angeles is the only team without a traditional bye week , seeking an explanation for the shortened break.
"Just curious to hear the thought process behind making the Rams the only team in the NFL without a true bye week," wrote Kelly.

She also brought some humor into her criticism, pointing out that even after spending 18 years around professional football, she needs a break despite never having played a snap.
"Because after 18 years around this league, even I need a week off during the season… and I have never played a single snap. I'm tired just watching from the stands. Can't imagine how the guys feel."
Moreover, Kelly invited the NFL to respond about its scheduling decision by adding a question box.
The Rams technically have a Week 11 bye, but their schedule gives them considerably less time away from competition than a conventional midseason break. Los Angeles will face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, November 15, before returning to the field against the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, November 25. The matchup will be the league's first Thanksgiving Eve game and will be played at SoFi Stadium, with Netflix carrying the broadcast.
Instead of receiving the usual two-week gap between games, the Rams will have just 10 days between their Cardinals and Packers matchups.
Green Bay, meanwhile, will have a more favorable arrangement after the Thanksgiving Eve contest. The team will immediately enter its bye week and will not play again until December 6.
Los Angeles' demanding schedule extends beyond its shortened break. The Rams are projected to travel 34,847 miles during the season, making them the NFL's second-most-traveled team behind the San Francisco 49ers, who are scheduled to cover 38,105 miles. Both NFC West rivals opened their campaigns in Melbourne, Australia, on September 10.
The Rams have several challenging matchups remaining. Following their Packers game, they will have eight days before facing the Kansas City Chiefs on December 3. Their remaining schedule includes games against the 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers before a season-ending home matchup versus the Seahawks.
