Which former Texas Longhorns are on NFL rosters this year? 41 survived NFL cut day

After wrapping up their preseason schedule, NFL teams scrambled Sunday to cut their rosters down to the league maximum of 53 active players. By the end of the day, 41 former Texas football players had made the cut on 53-man rosters.

Those 41 Longhorns are spread out among 22 of the NFL's 32 teams.

Los Angeles Chargers (1): K Cameron Dicker

Miami Dolphins (2): OL DJ Campbell, DB Michael Taaffe

New York Jets (4): FB Andrew Beck , WR Adonai Mitchell , EDGE Joseph Ossai , DL T'Vondre Sweat

Tennessee Titans (2): TE Gunnar Helm , LB Anthony Hill Jr.

The NFL season doesn't kick off until next week so some roster moves may still happen. A Texas product who was recently cut like running back Jaydon Blue (Cowboys) could find a new home, and some injured Longhorns like New England 's Brenden Schooler and New Orleans ' Jaylan Ford will likely be added to active rosters whenever they get healthy.
