Having lost four consecutive games, including three straight by at least 22 points, Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry isn't concerning himself with what might happen before the Nov. 10 trade deadline.

Speaking to reporters after the Ravens' 33-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night, Henry was asked about his status with the organization ahead of the deadline.

"I have not mentioned me going anywhere else," Henry said. "I'm saying, 'Let's go back to work. Let's try to get better and turn this thing around.'"

Henry's name hadn't really popped up as a trade candidate because it was assumed the return of Lamar Jackson would elevate the Ravens back to being a playoff contender in the AFC.

Instead, Jackson's uncertain status for the remainder of the season after suffering a thumb injury on his first pass attempt in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills might have Baltimore rethinking its plans.

ESPN's Dan Graziano cited Henry as a player to watch on the running-back market leading up to Tuesday's trade deadline.

However, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on Friday's episode of Good Morning Football that the Ravens' acquisition of Jacoby Brissett makes it less likely they will be deadline sellers with the hope he can keep them above water with a more talented roster around him than he had in Arizona.

One issue with that line of thinking, though, is the Ravens haven't been playing up to their talent level outside of the quarterback conundrum. They rank 26th in points allowed per game.

Advanced metrics are a little more kind to Baltimore's defense, which is ranked 18th in both EPA per play and success rate. The Ravens have been outscored 104-33 in the last three games.

Henry does have one more year on his contract after this season, so perhaps Baltimore is also thinking ahead to 2027 with a healthy Jackson. He has a $16.3 million cap hit next season, but Baltimore would save $12 million if he were to be moved.

Another potential issue is would Henry bring back enough in a trade to make it worth making a move. He is a 32-year-old running back on an expensive contract and is averaging a career-low 3.9 yards per carry.

Since Week 1 when he ran for 144 yards and three touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts, Henry has 545 yards and five touchdowns in eight games.
