Aaron Rodgers Shades Steelers Coaches in New Video, Reportedly Called Some Plays in Win vs. Saints

Despite a 16-10 win over the New Orleans Saints in Sunday's NFL Paris Game, Pittsburgh Steelers veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers made it clear that he wasn't happy with the team's offensive performance.
Rodgers appeared to shade the Steelers' coaching staff when he told reporters (4:40 mark), "We need to adjust a little bit better. Teams just don't really play us the way they play other teams."
Biggest takeaways from Bears' win over Patriots
During the NFL Network broadcast, Molly McGrath reported that Rodgers was calling a lot of the Steelers' plays. He reportedly had a conversation with head coach Mike McCarthy and Pittsburgh's wide receivers about it.
Rodgers admitted to McGrath after the game, "I don't think we played very good on offense today. ... We've got a lot to work on. ... We're a 5-2 team, but we're not playing as well as we can at this point."
The Steelers produced 343 yards of offense, with Rodgers throwing for 212 yards and a touchdown in the victory. Pittsburgh's defense held New Orleans to 281 yards, including just 18 rushing yards.
The latest apparent disconnect between Rodgers and the Steelers' coaching staff comes after he was visibly frustrated during games earlier this season, gesturing and yelling toward the sideline, "What the f--k? Call it!" during the team's 27-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 4. McCarthy was seen muttering profanity after the exchange.
The 2026 season is expected to be Rodgers' final year in the NFL, so it's hardly a surprise that he's taking matters into his own hands. Still, he and McCarthy have failed to recapture the magic from their days together with the Green Bay Packers, and that doesn't bode well for Pittsburgh's chances to contend for a Super Bowl title.
Rodgers and McCarthy will try to get back on the same page when the Steelers face the Browns in a rematch in Week 8.
