After throwing for three touchdowns in a 27-7 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy received high praise from teammate Fred Warner.
Appearing on SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt following the game (starts at 2:10 mark), Warner hailed Purdy as the "best quarterback in the entire league."
Purdy finished 25-of-34 for 205 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. He also ran for 29 yards and picked up three first downs on the ground.
The peak of the game for Purdy and the 49ers came late in the third quarter when the defense stuffed Matthew Stafford's sneak attempt on fourth-and-goal from the one.
San Francisco took over and drove 99 yards, with Purdy accounting for 74 of them, capped off by a Deebo Samuel touchdown catch to extend the lead to 24-7.
If the 49ers are going to get this version of Purdy and their defense all season, the NFC West could feature the three best teams in the entire conference.
