The Detroit Lions took a quarter to get going Sunday, but once they found the end zone for the first time, the team didn't stop. Detroit poured on 45 points in a blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5.

But the most impressive part of that victory is what happened after the contest. During his postgame presser, Lions coach Dan Campbell got emotional while handing out a game ball to long-time team announcer Dan Miller, whose wife, Cindy, died of cancer Saturday.

"Let's start with this. This ball goes to Dan Miller and his family. That was hard to hear, what they went through. It's been a tough road for Dan. This is for him. Salt of the Earth, man. Dan is salt of the Earth. I know this has been hard, but now I know Cindy is at peace. We love you, Dan. Appreciate you."

Campbell wasn't the only member of the organization who got emotional when talking about Miller. After Sunday's game, quarterback Jared Goff held back tears when asked about Miller during a postgame interview.

Miller — who has served as the team's radio announcer since 2005 — did not call Sunday's game following Cindy's death. In his stead, Detroit Tigers announcer Jason Benetti filled in. Benetti also made sure to pay tribute to Miller and his family during the broadcast.

Those comments did not go unnoticed by Miller's family. His daughter, Rikki, thanked Campbell and his wife Holly for being " incredible " to the Miller family during Cindy's illness.
