Iowa quarterback Hank Brown leads #17 Hawkeyes into Saturday’s matchup at #18 Michigan

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCAU) - There's plenty to credit for a 3-0 start for the Iowa Hawkeyes as they moved up to #17 in the newest AP Poll.

Iowa's defense has allowed only 13 points all season, but a big key has been the Hawkeye offense led by quarterback Hank Brown .

Brown has paced the Hawkeyes to a scorching 37 points per game through the team's first three contests as the senior has been efficient, boasting 473 passing yards and three touchdowns with a completion percentage of 72.6%.

The senior looks to continue rolling as the Hawkeyes begin Big Ten play with a visit to fellow unbeaten and #18 Michigan on Saturday as Iowa aims for its first win in 'The Big House' since 2010.

Brown feels he's learned more as the season progressed and looks to apply those lessons heading into conference play.

"Playing quarterback in the game of football you're never going to be super comfortable and there's always going to be different things that the defense is going to throw at you, and the ball bounces a different way sometimes. But just being able to continue to be efficient and lean on the guys around me, I've got some studs around me and an awesome offensive line, so I am comfortable knowing those guys are going to make plays for me ans we're going to have fun while we're doing it," Brown said.
