Sauce Gardner Responds to DK Metcalf's Viral Comments on Video After Colts' Loss to Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers' wideout DK Metcalf made some headlines before Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts, pretending like he wasn't familiar with star cornerback Sauce Gardener and saying he doesn't "worry about what a DB does well—they've got to guard me."

Gardner had his own thoughts on the pregame shade following the loss.

"I [saw the comments]. Quite a few people from Detroit sent me that," he told reporters. "They got the win today. They're a pretty good team. We've just gotta be better. Hats off to them for getting the win, but we gotta be better. ... I play corner, so you know how that goes. I don't want to feed too much into it. I don't want it to be bigger than what it's supposed to be. Yeah, it is what it is."

While Pittsburgh indeed won the matchup, 34-22, Metcalf was held to just three receptions for 12 yards and one run for 11 yards. It was a "lost the battle, won the war" type of day for the wideout.
