Joey Porter Jr. Reacts to Win in Cowboys Debut in IG Photo After Steelers Trade

Joey Porter Jr.'s Dallas Cowboys debut was a success.

The cornerback, who was traded to Dallas from the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this week, helped the Cowboys pick up a 34-30 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.

He celebrated with a message on Instagram afterwards.

Porter played about half of the Cowboys' defensive snaps but did a tremendous job when he was in, allowing no receptions.

Porter is looking to finish the 2026 campaign strong with his new team as he prepares to enter free agency. He was previously engaged in contract talks with the Steelers, but said the process made him feel "disrespected."

"It was a hard process, a lot of ups and downs," Porter told reporters on Thursday. "Definitely felt disrespected. Definitely felt undervalued. But that's old news now. That's how I look at it. I'm on to new beginnings, new chapters."

Porter's newest chapter got off to a good start Sunday, and he'll look to continue helping Dallas win games.
