Mere days remain before the 2026 NFL campaign's opening kick.

Rankings will soon mold official rosters. Mock drafts will turn into the real things. An offseason of research will boil down into on-the-clock decisions that could grant championship wishes or dash of dominance.

Soon isn't right this second, though, so let's cram-session our way through updated positional and overall rankings before finishing with sleeper picks at the three marquee positions.

Quarterback: Kyler Murray, Minnesota Vikings

If Murray could be granted security of health and job, he might be a no-brainer top-10 quarterback. Since he isn't, managers can find top-five upside from someone who isn't always a top-15 pick at the position. His dynamic rushing ability elevates his floor, while joining forces with playcaller Kevin O'Connell and playmakers Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Jauan Jennings gives Murray league-winning upside.

Running back: Keaton Mitchell, Los Angeles Chargers

When Mitchell finds an open path, he wastes zero time bursting through it. And given his elite explosiveness, he's a threat to turn any of those openings into a monster gain. The hope—if not the expectation—is that new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel will scheme up a lot of those openings, giving Mitchell weekly flex appeal with RB2 upside if Omarion Hampton misses any time.

Wide receiver: Denzel Boston, Cleveland Browns

There is absolutely a chance Boston fends off KC Concepcion and Harold Fannin Jr. to lead this time in targets. And a heavily targeted Boston could be pretty special, as evidenced by the 125 catches, 1,715 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns he posted over his final two seasons in college. Target competition and underwhelming quarterback play are legitimate concerns, but Boston's is talented enough to rise above it all.
