No, the Indianapolis Colts would not be in the playoff if the season ended today. At 2-2, they are tied with four other teams for the seventh and final berth. Here's the seeding:
7. New England: Wins tiebreaker due to 2-1 conference record
8. Denver: Gets the 8 seed due to 1-1 conference record
9. Pittsburgh: Division tiebreakers are determined first so Cincinnati is eliminated due to head-to-head; the Steelers have the strength of victory tiebreaker over Colts

NFL.com gives the Colts a 39% chance of making the playoffs, 9th best in the AFC. Playoffstatus.com has them at 45%, 10th-best odds in the AFC.
Obviously, Sunday's game against the Steelers is potentially a big one for playoff seeding.
The Colts are also one-game out of the AFC South with two games to play against the Jaguars .
It's way too early to focus on tiebreakers but the Colts have legitimate playoff hopes (for now).
