Jaguars vs. Patriots: NFL experts predict Week 3 winner

Looking to bounce back following a Week 2 loss, the Jacksonville Jaguars are hosting the New England Patriots in Week 3.

So who do the NFL experts have winning this matchup? Spoiler alert: many like the Jaguars in this matchup.

All five predictors are picking the Jaguars to win this game. Here is why Dan Parr likes Jacksonville:

"One thing that could work in the Jags' favor is the Pats' ailing health. New England has taken hits to the league's No. 1 scoring defense -- edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones and safety Craig Woodson missed Wednesday's practice with shoulder issues -- and lost RG Mike Onwenu (ankle) to injured reserve. I'm leaning ever so slightly toward the home team in what figures to be a highly entertaining battle."

Of the eight members of the Monday Morning Quarterback crew, seven are taking the Jaguars to win.

Two of ESPN's three predictors are picking the Jaguars to win. ESPN's FPI prediction model gives the Jaguars a 57.5% chance of winning this game, and Jacksonville does so by an average of two points.

Mike Florio is picking the Jaguars to win 23-16.
