Any fantasy football managers with De'Zhaun Stribling on their roster will need to look in a different direction for the next few weeks.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network and ESPN reported the rookie wide receiver is sidelined for at least a month with a deltoid sprain in his ankle.

That's going to put a bigger spotlight on Demarcus Robinson, who had two catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in San Francisco's 27-7 Week 1 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

If Deebo Samuel Sr. happens to be available in your league, then he's a must-add as well.

Outside of San Francisco, the Philadelphia Eagles' Dontayvion Wicks and New York Giants' Malachi Fields could be worth a look depending on how Week 1 unfolds.

As a flex option, Kaelon Black's value is ticking up even higher. The Niners running back ran for 65 yards on 14 carries against Los Angeles, so he might get enough touches, even as the backup to Christian McCaffrey, to make a fantasy impact.

In general, there's no need to move right now. Players on the 49ers roster are ineligible to add until Week 1 concludes, and the opening slate of games will provide a better picture of the overlooked candidates who are worthy of a waiver claim.

Fields, for example, generated some excitement during training camp and the preseason. If he's totally anonymous Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, the hype is going to quiet down.

Fantasy managers who have IR spots available to use may not want to cut ties with Stribling just yet. There's nothing to lose by stashing him away.

Those who don't have that luxury should start looking at the waiver wire as soon as the window opens in Week 2. A month is a long time for Stribling to miss and the payoff at the end once he's cleared may not be worth it.
