Maxx Crosby could end his career with the Raiders after all
The Las Vegas Raiders and Maxx Crosby may have their happy ending.
Oh, the drama surrounding Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby. He was traded, of course, to the Baltimore Ravens over the offseason and then traded back after failing a physical.
Now, Crosby is back with the Raiders, but many think he won't be there for long. If other teams have interest, they could be willing to cough up a lot of draft capital to get this elite edge rusher.
But, not every NFL analyst agrees. On Friday, ahead of the NFL's Week 4 , Dan Graziano of ESPN names a collection of trades that could happen in the NFL. He also talks about Crosby.
Maxx Crosby and the Las Vegas Raiders may still be a match made in Heaven
Graziano says that he really doesn't think a trade is going to happen with Crosby this year. The reason has to do with a mix of chemistry and the success the Raiders are having. The Raiders are undefeated going into Week 4.
"Crosby's relationship with the team is, by all accounts, in a much better place than it was at the end of last season, and he's enjoying the early success of the Klint Kubiak era," he notes in the piece.
He adds, "Teams will continue to ask, especially if he keeps playing well and looking healthy, but the Raiders don't have to trade him, and I don't think they will unless they get blown away by an offer the way they were by the Ravens' deal in the spring."
So, the Raiders fanbase may not have to retire their Crosby jerseys after all.
