7 Will Levis Practice Squad Landing Spots After Being Unclaimed on Waivers

On Monday, the 27-year-old quarterback passed through waivers unclaimed. Now, he'll presumably look to join another team's practice squad. But which teams could try adding the 33rd overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft to their 16-man practice squad?

With just Josh Allen and Kyle Allen as the only two quarterbacks in the organization, the Buffalo Bills may want another arm to start learning their system. There are still a lot of traits to like about Levis, like his cannon of an arm. While Levis battles inconsistency and accuracy issues, so did the Bills' former NFL MVP. Perhaps Joe Brady and the Allens can help Levis get his career back on track.

The Cincinnati Bengals kept just Joe Burrow and Joe Flacco . Considering the latter is 41 years old, the Bengals may want to find someone to place on their practice squad now, so he can start mastering the offense. After all, an injury to either Burrow or Flacco would mean Levis is just one snap away from joining an offense that features Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. That's about as good as it gets.

Now that the Green Bay Packers traded Kyle McCord, they probably want to get another young QB for Matt LaFleur to work wonders with. Right now, all they have is a 37-year-old Tyrod Taylor backing up Jordan Love , and that's a dangerous situation should an injury occur. Levis wouldn't have to start from scratch; he already has 21 starts under his belt, so it's possible the learning curve wouldn't be as steep here.

The Jaguars are coached by Liam Coen, who also coached Levis at Kentucky. Yet, there's no chance a team keeps five QBs in the organization, so chances are Mullens would be the one who gets the pink slip in Duval.
