Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies will be hoping that Masked Man can win at this fixture for the second year in a row as he heads the market for another ultra-competitive renewal of the Silver Trophy at Chepstow.

"I'm siding with the Double Green-owned machine that is Masked Man for Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies. He won at this meeting last year making his first run under rules, he was competitive in all of them starts last season and they even chanced him in the Grade One at Aintree.

"His trainer combination are flying at the minute, with a 50 per cent strike rate and I know he is favourite, but he is still a good price and will be ready to go for this."

"I went to Olly Murphy's last week for a stable tour and the first horse and the one he kept mentioning was Daylatedollarshort with Sean Bowen on. He showed progression in handicaps after being a little bit disappointing in his career.

"He ran an almighty race at the Punchestown Festival when finishing second. He looked fit and ready to go last week, and he could land the race for the same connections that won this race last year."

" Washington is a huge price here. He may be a 10-year-old, but this is his time of year. He loves racing in Wales in October and his record in this month is where he is at his peak.

"He could go well at a massive price for a trainer in Harry Derham, who hasn't been in the winner's enclosure for a while but has provided plenty of placed efforts from his runners so far. He's a good each-way bet at a huge price."
