Barnsley sign ex-Cambridge United defender Jubril Okedina on a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
Barnsley have signed defender Jubril Okedina on a one-year deal with the option of a further year.
The 25-year-old Malawi international came through Tottenham Hotspur's youth setup and later joined Cambridge United, where he made 138 appearances in all competitions.
He then moved to League of Ireland Premier Division side Bohemians but made just three league appearances, the most recent of which came in September 2025.
"I've spent about four seasons in League One, and I've come up against different playing styles and different gaffers," Okedina told the club website.
"I've played in various setups, come up against different types of strikers, and I feel like I know the league really well."
Barnsley sit 18th in League One after losing three of their opening six games.
