George Holani posts eight carries

Seattle Seahawks RB Geoge Holani had eight carries for 29 yards in a Week 1 win over the New England Patriots . Holani was targeted once as a receiver but did not have a catch.

Why It Matters: Holani more or less split the backfield duties with Jadarian Price in Week 1, totaling eight carries to 10 for the rookie -- free-agent signee Emanuel Wilson had two. Holani wasn't nearly as effective, though, and it'll be interesting to see how touches are divvied up in Week 2 and beyond given how explosive Price looked in limited burn. There's also the eventual return of Zach Charbonnet (knee), who should supplant Holani as the No. 2 back at some point. For the moment, Holani holds marginal value as roster depth, but that could be short lived.
