Oregon vs Oklahoma State delayed by thunderstorms. Updates, latest

STILLWATER, Okla. – The No. 6 Oregon football team won't be battling just the near-triple-digit weather in its game against Oklahoma State Saturday, Sept. 12 in Stillwater.

Lightning strikes within an 8-mile radius of Boone Pickens Stadium forced officials to suspend play before the Ducks (1-0) and Cowboys (0-1) scheduled kickoff at 9 a.m. PT, Saturday. Now the Ducks will have to battle what could be a lengthy delay.

Oregon vs. Oklahoma State delayed due to Stillwater lightning

Due to thunderstorms and lightning in the Stillwater area, players have been ushered off the field at Boone Pickens Stadium as of 8:15 a.m. PT and officials are considering the next course of action as the game has been suspended and will not start at the scheduled 9 a.m. PT.
