Home Team Friday Week 7 MVP

Lincoln City, Ind. (WEHT) – After counting up over 1,100 total votes, Heritage Hills' Tyce Winchell was named our week seven Home Team Friday MVP of the night.

The senior quarterback recorded 225 total yards of offense and five touchdowns in the Patriots 35-7 win over Mt. Vernon. He secured 78.8 percent of the votes to claim MVP.

"That's awesome. I mean yea, I've been in the running a lot but finally got it. It's great like all my hard work is paying off. I got great teammates and great coaches, I mean even if I'm making plays (I) can't do any of that without my teammates or my coaches. They help me out a lot."

Winchell and Heritage Hills will take on North Posey on Friday, October 9th.
