It's Week 1 of the Iowa high school football season, and the scores are in from across the state.

Some of the top games Friday night were Dowling vs. Valley, Iowa City High vs. Iowa City West, Ankeny vs. Waukee Northwest, Ankeny Centennial vs. Southeast Polk, Bettendorf vs. Pleasant Valley and Carlisle vs. Newton.
