Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers paid tribute to former coach Mike Tomlin with a special shirt following Sunday's 34-22 victory over the Indianapolis Colts . The veteran quarterback wore a shirt featuring one of Tomlin's familiar coaching reminders during his postgame appearance.
The shirt displayed the letters "DGBTTF," which stand for "Don't get beat to the flat." Rodgers, who previously spoke about his close relationship with Tomlin, explained that the message was a tribute rather than a warning directed at Indianapolis.
"No, it's not a warning," Rodgers said when asked about the shirt. "It's an ode to Mike T. He used to always say, 'Don't get beat to the flat.'"

The phrase refers to a defensive responsibility in football, particularly preventing opponents from finding space for short passes near the sideline. The postgame shirt was highlighted by Blitzburgh on X , drawing attention to Tomlin's familiar coaching reminder.
Rodgers' gesture came after another productive performance for the Steelers offense. He completed 22 of 31 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns without throwing an interception.
The quarterback also completed his first 11 passes against Indianapolis, helping Pittsburgh establish an early offensive rhythm. His performance contributed to the team's third victory of the season.
Running back Jaylen Warren also played a major role in the win, producing 188 yards from scrimmage. He scored on an 80-yard reception and a 50-yard run as the Steelers pulled away from the Colts.
Pittsburgh improved to 3-2 with the victory at Acrisure Stadium, while Indianapolis dropped to 2-3. The result gave the Steelers another boost as they continued their regular-season campaign.
For Rodgers, however, the postgame shirt carried a message beyond the final score. His tribute showed that Tomlin's coaching words still hold meaning after the former Steelers coach stepped down following 19 seasons .
