JOPLIN, MO. — Missouri Southern Volleyball moves to 1-3 overall following a loss in straight sets against Southwest Baptist on Saturday to conclude play at the Southern Invite.
The Lions fell 25-17 in each of the first two sets and had a chance to force a fourth, but ultimately fell 25-21 in set three.
Kaelyn Kendrick (9), Grace Gardner (7) and Addysen Alvis (7) led the team in kills while Brenna Weaver had a game-high 20 assists.
Missouri Southern will look for a bounce-back win next week at the Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kansas beginning Wednesday, September 2.
