Not a Game Day Live Thread

No problem. It's the most consequence-free Saturday of the year. While the Red and Black rest up and ready themselves for the World's Largest Indoor Cocktail Party in Atlanta next week, you get to enjoy another day of fine midseason college football action. It's a big day for games that matter in conference title races and for some teams' CFP playoff hopes.

The noon slate includes Indiana traveling to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan coming off that tough loss to Ohio State. The Wolverines have experienced a week of turmoil with Bryce Underwood benched in favor of Tommy Carr, the grandson of legendary Wolverine coach Lloyd Carr.

In the SEC, the The Bayou Bengals of Lawsuit State University travel to the Loveliest Little Post-apocalyptic crater on the Plains to take on the Auburn Tigers (ABC). I expect the Cajun Tigers to remind the semi-illiterate Tigers how hard it is to win in the SEC consistently. You can also catch the Skycast+ broadcast of this one on SEC Network.

If you're a fan of quality ACC football (no, not actually an oxymoron, we swear) you can turn over to the CW and catch Cal at SMU. Yes, Cal-Berkeley at SMU in Dallas is an Atlantic Coast Conference game. No, we're not joking. Also not joking about the quality, as two competent, fun offenses square off.

We'll be back later with a separate thread for a solid afternoon/evening slate. Until then…
