The Atlanta Dream are due to return to playoff action on Wednesday evening, aiming to take another step towards this year's WNBA Finals.
After seeing off the Washington Mystics in the first round, the Dream secured a 92-82 win over the New York Liberty in the first game of their series over the weekend.
Two more wins will put them into the final against the Golden State Valkyries or the Las Vegas Aces, but it appears as though they will have to make do without Allisha Gray for their game on October 7.
Rhyne Howard says news on Allisha Gray is 'good'
As shared by Meghan L. Hall on X/Twitter, Dream head coach Karl Smesko provided an update on Gray on Tuesday and said: "Allisha Gray is out tomorrow … Day to day after that."
Hall then quoted her original tweet to provide a follow-up, which included Rhyne Howard describing the news on Gray as 'Good news'.
She wrote: "Quick follow up here: The team appeared to be in good spirits and said Gray was as well.
"News on Gray was described as 'good news' by Rhyne Howard. Asked Smesko about who steps up in the lineup. He didn't get into specifics, but mentioned multiple players helping with gap."
Gray secured seven points and one rebound during the Dream's first meeting with the Liberty.
She was also key to the 2-0 series win over the Mystics, including scoring 22 points in game two.
