Wisconsin Badgers fall in USA TODAY's 1-138 re-rank after Week 1 loss

The Wisconsin Badgers have suffered a slight fall in USA TODAY's 138-team college football rankings.

The silver lining is the fact that Notre Dame, the team that obliterated them in the second half in Week 1, is No. 1 in Paul Myerberg's rankings .

As for the Badgers , they fell to No. 66, which is five spots below where they were coming into the season .

There are a few teams just above Wisconsin that saw a major drop in the rankings, such as Clemson (-22), TCU (-30), East Carolina (-15), UNLV (-25), North Carolina State (-12), and Georgia Tech (-33).

Clearly, there's no room for error this early in the year, and that's why it's crucial that UW takes care of business in their next two non-conference games.
