MSU football pushing fans to 'wear white' on Saturday vs. Northwestern

Michigan State football is calling fans to wear white on Saturday afternoon.

The Spartans are pushing a simple message for Saturday's home game against Northwestern: go green, wear white. Michigan State is asking fans to wear white and create their own version of a "white out" against the Wildcats.

Michigan State has previously done a similar promotion, which is slightly different than their more well-known "stripe the stadium" push on opening week.

Michigan State comes into this game against Northwestern looking to snap a four-game losing skid. The Spartans are 2-4 overall and 0-3 in Big Ten play following an overtime loss against Illinois last week.

Kickoff for this matchup is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET. For those fans that will not be in attendance, you can watch the game via Peacock streaming service.
