The New York Giants ended the preseason in a dominating fashion, routing the New York Jets in a 23-6 victory on Friday night at MetLife Stadium.
Though the annual preseason meeting between the two East Rutherford teams has lost its luster, it was a signifcant matchup for those trying to put together viable tape with roster cuts taking place over the weekend.
The Jets got on the board first with a goal-line rushing touchdown in the first quarter. However, the Giants answered with a Tyrone Tracy touchdown of their own and never looked back. A strong outing from undrafted rookie kicker Dominic Zvada, who made all three field-goal attempts, gave Big Blue a commanding lead.
