Five things to expect in USC’s Big Ten opener at Rutgers

Big Ten play is officially here for USC! After finishing their nonconference slate 3-0, the Trojans will open up conference play on the road this week at Rutgers .

Prior to each game this season, I will be giving you five things to expect. So without further ado, here are my predictions for USC-Rutgers:

With Trent Mosley out , the Trojans will need their other receivers to step up. They get that from fellow freshman Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, who goes for over 100 yards.

USC defensive lineman Luke Wafle is from New Jersey. Playing his first college football game in his home state, Wafle records at least five total tackles.

USC should have a physical advantage over Rutgers on the lines of scrimmage. The Trojans use this advantage to rush for 200 or more yards.

Quarterback Jayden Maiava has accounted for at least three total touchdowns in each of USC's first three games. He does so again on Saturday.

Rutgers wide receiver KJ Duff has been one of his team's only bright spots through two games. He has another big day against the Trojans, finishing with at least 125 yards and a touchdown.
