Carnell Tate led Tennessee Titans WRs in snaps vs. New York Jets

The Tennessee Titans began the Robert Saleh era on a sour note, losing to his former New York Jets team 23-10 at home. The loss continued their season-opening losing streak to six games, with their last win coming at the Denver Broncos in 2020.

While the game wasn't considered a must-win game, the domination that occurred by the Jets definitely didn't give any confidence that the Titans can turn around their losing ways. All three phases have work to do to avoid another 0-2 start for a third consecutive season.

Arguably the Titans' best player in Week 1, rookie second-round pick LB Anthony Hill Jr. played 100% of the defensive snaps in Cedric Gray 's absence. Hill Jr. finished his first career game with 16 tackles and two passes defended for Tennessee's lone bright spot .
