Boston Legacy midfielder Sarah Schupansky signs contract extension with Boston Legacy FC through 2028

Last Friday, Gotham FC traded midfielder Sarah Schupansky to Boston Legacy FC in exchange for $50,000 in allocation money — available to Gotham FC through the 2027 season — and $30,000 in intraleague transfer funds. Schupansky's contract with Gotham was set to run through the 2027 NWSL season.
Today, the NWSL expansion side has announced that Sarah Schupansky has signed a contract extension through December 2028.
Although the inaugural season has been filled with ups and downs, the team have found many key building blocks.
General manager Domènec Guasch and head coach Filipa Patão have now added to their future with the midfielder.
