Is A.J. Brown Playing Today? Patriots Reveal WR's Status Before Week 6 Game vs. Jets
Brown was listed as a limited participant at Patriots practices throughout the week.
The Patriots will get a major offensive boost when they hit the field on Sunday for a Week 6 matchup against the Jets.
On Saturday, New England officially activated A.J. Brown to the 53-man roster, and the star wide receiver is expected to play in the AFC East rivalry game. Brown has not played since suffering an ankle injury in a Week 1 loss to the Seahawks.
The 29-year-old returned to practice as a limited participant on Wednesday. Brown was also listed as a limited participant on Thursday and Friday, saying that it was " still up in the air " whether he would play.
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported that Brown had a "really good week" and "great rehab process," clearing the way for him to suit up against New York.
"I'd expect a good amount of A.J. Brown in his return to action for New England," Garafolo said.
