However, the more important thing for him was that he could look back at his life and see the positive impact he had created on the people he loved and his fans.He said, “We’re all going to expire here soon. We can’t outrun death. You know, everybody everybody’s time’s going to be up at some point. You just want to make sure that once you look back on it that you did everything that you can and that you’ve positively affected as many people as humanly possible, but most importantly, you’re a good father and a good husband. I think in a long dissertation, that’s what should be up my headstone.”How does Goldberg want to be remembered after he leaves the world? When asked what his son, Gage, would say on the day he leaves the world, Goldberg said that he would like to be remembered as a great father to him. For the WWE legend, being a good family man was much greater than the larger-than-life wrestling character he portrayed for years. “You know, I would say that um I treat people the way they want to be treated. The most important title that I have is father and husband. Goldberg is way down the road, but I was a father that cared more about his family than himself and would do anything and everything not only to protect them, but to arm them for what’s to come”, said Goldberg.Goldberg and his son have been seen on WWE television on numerous occasions. He had his retirement match against Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in July 2025.
