Huddersfield Town 4 - 1 Peterborough United FT

Huddersfield continued their strong start to the season with a 4-1 victory over Peterborough.

The hosts raced into the lead when Ilias Bronkhorst went totally unmarked to steer Archie Collins' crossed free-kick into the net from close range.

The rest of the first half failed to live up to that blistering start, however, with both sides low on quality and struggling with the ball in the Yorkshire drizzle.

Things continued in that fashion until Joe Taylor sprinted onto an interception on the halfway line in the 66th minute that put him clean through on goalkeeper Alex Bass before he applied a composed finish.

Harry Leonard hit back within two minutes for Peterborough, finishing into the bottom corner from Danny Ormerod's clever flick.

Taylor restored Huddersfield's two-goal cushion just three minutes later, though, smashing home a left-footed finish at the end of Marcus Harness' low cross from the right.

Bali Mumba then rounded things off after cutting inside from the left off a well weighted through ball from Derensili Sanches Fernandes.
