"White towels with brown stains" - Giannis Antetokounmpo reveals ugly truth about Heat's visiting locker room

Giannis is happy he no longer has to visit the Heat's visiting locker room.

· 250 words

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been to the Miami Heat 's visiting locker room plenty of times with the Milwaukee Bucks . Today, he's happy he won't have to step inside it again, describing the conditions opposing players face when visiting the Heat .

"The visiting locker room, it's hot! No AC! The towels are old, the showers don't work. They give us white towels with brown stains!" he said.

Antetokounmpo will now experience Miami from the other side. But the biggest adjustment for him will obviously be basketball-related.

After more than a decade in Milwaukee, where he became an NBA champion, two-time MVP and one of the league's most dominant players, Antetokounmpo is beginning an entirely new chapter, coming off an injury-riddled season during which he averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists.

He has seen the Heat's arena from the visitors' perspective, dealt with everything that came with playing there and now gets to experience the organization as its biggest star.

He's also heard the stories about Pat Riley, the Heat culture, and Erik Spoelstra's coaching brilliance. Now he'll have the opportunity to experience all of these firsthand.

Regardless of what happens and how his first season with the Heat goes, at least Antetokounmpo won't have to wonder whether the visiting locker room has working showers anymore.
