SnakePit Post-season GDT, #15

If the weather today seems a little cooler, the air slightly fresher, and that glass of Phoenix tap water marginally less chemically than yesterday, there's a good reason for this. It's the first Dodger-free day of post-season baseball since the Rangers beat the Diamondbacks in the 2023 World Series. I think we all expected the Brewers to give them a tough fight – they did win more regular season games. But a 4-0 sweep? The much-vaunted Dodgers line-up held to a .185 average and .520 OPS? Very pleasant indeed. Milwaukee now have eight days to cool their heels before the World Series starts next Friday night, against the Rays or Guardians.

Speaking of which… We're waiting for this one to get under way tonight in Cleveland [insert roof joke here]. Whether it will go on or not, remains to be seen, but on the off-chance it does – here's your Gameday Thread! If it doesn't, I imagine we'll have an early game on what should have been Sunday's travel day instead.
