Does Texas play today? Schedule, time, channel for next Longhorns football game

The No. 1 Texas Longhorns are riding the high of a four-game winning streak this week as they head into restful bye.

Texas hit the road last weekend and returned home from Knoxville with a win, 20-17 over Tennessee. The Longhorn's defense had a standout performance at Neyland Stadium, finishing with 10 sacks and limiting the Vols to just 221 yards in the ranked showdown.

Still undefeated, the Longhorns' off weekend is coming at the perfect time. Though Texas won't be taking the field as usual on Saturday, the squad will instead have extra time to prepare for the Red River Rivalry game against Oklahoma on Oct. 10.

Here's everything you need to know about Texas' next game, including TV channel and streaming options for Longhorns football.

Texas won't play during Week 5 of the college football season. The Longhorns will return to action against Oklahoma on Saturday, Oct. 10. The game will be played at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
