The USC Trojans knocked off No. 2 Ohio State 30-18 on Saturday, marking their biggest win of the season. It was a great response from Lincoln Riley's team after the disappointment of their 24-7 defeat to Wisconsin the previous week.
USC great Matt Leinart was quick to congratulate the Trojans for their major achievement.
"Big win for Usc!!!!!" Leinart wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Leinart led the Trojans to the 2004 BCS national championship and won the Heisman Trophy that season as well. He finished with a 37-2 record as a starter for USC, and his No. 11 jersey was retired after his graduation.
USC's current quarterback, Jayden Maiava, wasted no time putting the Trojans in front as he throw a 69-yard touchdown to Trent Mosley in just the second play of the game. They finished the first quarter up 14-3 thanks to a Waymond Jordan run and didn't look back from there.
Maiava did not do much else of note after that play as he finished 15 of 22 for 222 yards and one touchdown. But after his two early turnovers in the loss against Wisconsin, the fact that he threw zero interceptions and managed the game well overall was notable.
Meanwhile, the Trojans defense still gave up 464 total yards to Ohio State's offense, which had freshman Luke Fahey starting at quarterback for the injured Julian Sayin. But they made just enough plays in the second half to keep the Buckeyes at bay.
The Trojans will now look to build off that big win against the Buckeyes, as they take on the reigning national champion Indiana Hoosiers next week.
