Here's what Mississippi State football coach Jeff Lebby said Oct. 7 when asked about an update on star quarterback Kamario Taylor's injury.
Mississippi State football coach Jeff Lebby did not provide an update on injured quarterback Kamario Taylor on Oct. 7.
"No, I don't (have an update)," Lebby said. "Again, that'll happen next Wednesday."
The No. 20 Bulldogs (4-1, 2-1 SEC) are on an open week before playing at No. 10 LSU (4-1, 1-1) on Oct. 17. The first injury report for that game will come out on Oct. 14.
Taylor exited in the fourth quarter of Mississippi State's 56-23 loss against Alabama on Oct. 3. He wore a boot on his right foot for the remainder of the game. Lebby did not have an update on him immediately afterward.
